Hi All, Meet Brownie! A super sweet stray cat that wandered into my barn, curled up in the corner and never left. After a day of watching me in the barn, he could tell I was only there to help, and welcomed pets and food. Once he started following me around, it was clear he had a broken leg - likely from being hit by a car or a similar injury.

He was examined by the vet, where he was treated for worms, fleas and ear mites. The vet confirmed that the injury was too old and there was no saving his leg; and the recommended path for a good quality of life was to amputate the leg.

We’ve received a handful of quotes for this surgery, with the cheapest being around $1600. At the request of so many friends and family who wanted to help, I set up this go fund me to help cover this sweet boy’s surgery and recovery to give him the best chance at a great quality of life and a loving home!
