The unconditionally beautiful and courageous Karen Thorenson lost her battle to lung cancer on November 30th. As a single mother, she left behind her equally incredible daughters, Olivia (19) and Alexa (26) McNally.
Losing Karen has left holes in the hearts of everyone who knew her, and both her smile and presence will be missed every day without her. Growing up as one of Olivia's best friends, Karen helped both me and others through most of life thus far.
It is inconceivably difficult to move on after losing a parent, especially when it is far too soon. It is made even more difficult when there is no one there to fill that space and keep you grounded and safe.
Please help us to support her infinitely strong daughters as they try to move forward and continue living in the spirit of their wonderful mother. Not having to worry so fully about a financial burden will help them to focus on standing tall and learning to live with her memory.
