https://www.facebook.com/nikkia.cobbs/videos/10156597594758670/ The Family/Owners of Josie's Jamerican Kitchen, a  dine-in Caribbean restaurant located in Waterbury, CT is seeking assistance in funding to open our doors to the community. Owners Nikkia, 14 years of food service and management, 13 years of service as a Army Military Police Staff Sergeant and current Law Enforcement Officer; David , currently an Army Military Police soldier with 18 years of service, a Minister in a local church and in the process of completing his Master in Divinity, former LEO and Volunteer Fire Fighter. Along with David's mother Josie, who has 30 years of food service and management for McDonalds restaurants. They have decided to fulfill a dream to open a full service Caribbean restaurant. Starting a business and trying to get funding is extremely hard due to the lack of income history that banks require, but that has not stopped us. With the summer coming to an end and all fairs and festivals slowing down, we are now looking at the end of the little income we were receiving. We have been using our own funds to fix, clean, refurbish this location, pay the rent and bills. We continue to do all the work ourselves for the past 90 days with faith that one of the many loan applications we applied for will be approved.  We are seeking for help with money for working capital, pay for bills and rent. We have faith and know that once we start cooking and delivering, we will have the income coming in to continue on our own. We are looking to provide 15 new jobs and build a relationship with the waterbury commuinty where we can start  to help building waterbury up with many others.
