Update:
Carol was so brave and fought so hard, like she always did, but for some heartbreaking reason, she lost her incredibly sudden battle to ARDS and Pneumonia relating to COVID-19 on December 30th, 2021 at 2:53 PM.
With a heavy heart, we are saying "see you later" to our beautiful mother, sister, daughter, niece, cousin, and friend. She was loved immensely.
There will be a celebration of life in her honor in the coming days, and details will be posted to her Memorial Page, which can be found on Facebook.
All donations are so sincerely appreciated and will help us to give her a proper goodbye from this world like she always wanted, and to help her kids during this difficult time as they navigate losing their mother, who they considered their absolute rock.

Carol is currently in ICU battling Pneumonia and ARDS relating to COVID-19. She first developed symptoms just after Thanksgiving, tested positive for Covid, and was admitted to the ER the first week of December after having difficulty breathing. For the first week, Heated High Flow and Bi-Pap Oxygen Therapy were used, and after no signs of improvement, she was moved to the Intensive Care Unit where she was sedated and put on a ventilator where she remains as of now.

We are not currently allowing visitors and ask that everyone please respect our families privacy during this time. We will keep everyone updated as best as we can.
We are taking it day by day and she will remain on the ventilator until significant improvements are made and then we will go from there. This will be a long road to recovery, and an even longer road after that. Please keep Carol and her family in your thoughts and prayers. She is THE strongest person any of us have ever had the privilege of knowing and we all know how hard she is fighting.
This fundraiser will help cover the costs of all medical expenses incurred during this time and also to help Carol's children through this time.
