My name is Emily, and I consider Mike a really dear friend of mine from work. As many of you know, Mike has been going through so much!! It all started when he found out he has stage 4 appendix cancer. It's called appendiceal cancer that has spread from his appendix and colon to his abdominal walls. It has not attacked his lungs or heart yet, and we pray to God that it doesn’t.

Mike has already started and been going through chemotherapy!! He’s fighting hard for his life and to get through this the best way he can. Nothing has been easy on him, as you can imagine. He is one strong and amazing man, and it breaks my heart to know that he’s going through so much.

I set up this GoFundMe to try to help relieve some of the stress that Mike is going through! (With his permission) As everyone knows, medical bills add up quickly, and he hasn’t been working due to his health. With him not working, I know all his personal bills are adding up also, and he will need basics like food to get him through this nightmare.

If anyone is able to help my dear friend out in his time of need, I know it would mean the world to him!!! He would be the first to help out anyone he could in a heartbeat if he was able, so let’s do this man a favor and help him get through this fight.
