My name is Emarii Lopes, and I am a junior vocal performance major at Mary Baldwin College.
I decided to step out on faith and apply for the highly competitive Vianden International Music Festival and School, in Luxembourg. I am elated to announce that I passed the highly prestigious and rigorous application and audition process. Out of the thousands of applications received, I was one of the few selected to attend this Music School this August! This is an incredible opportunity and will provide me with an ample amount of growth as a singer and performer. It will change my life forever. This program gives me the opportunity to fully emerge myself into music and expand my knowledge of my craft.
This program will also allow me the opportunity to work with 10 amazing instructors like: Semyon Rozin (chamber music coach), Mira Yang (George Mason Univ. and Kennedy Center- Voice and Musical Theatre Instructor), Andrew Campbell (Arizona State University and San Diego Opera- Voice Coaching), Diction instructors, Theater Stage Presence classes, and so many others…. I also will have opportunities to go to local venues and preform there and meet with casting agents. I am seeking your help to be able to partake in this amazing opportunity. If you would like to donate anything to help me towards my goal of going to Luxembourg, I would be extremely grateful. No amount is too small.
