The Anderson family awoke to a neighbor banging on their doors and windows in the early morning hours of Friday July 26th 2019. When they realized what was happening, the home was already filled with heavy dark smoke and it was hard to breathe...they knew the kids were downstairs and sprang into action to break windows and get them out. Some of the littles ones had cuts on their legs and arms from being pulled through broken glass but everyone made it out ALIVE. Sadly their fur dog baby Poppy did not and the family is devastated. There was also 3 cats living in the home and all 3 are accounted for and at the vet. Everything materialistic is replaceable but their fur babies are not.
My sister in law Kylee (mama bear) is the most genuine caring person on this planet. She is quick to give her shirt off her back to anyone in need. She is always helping someone, always doing things for other people, never turning down someone in need. I’m not sure why this had to happen to someone so kind, someone with a heart full of gold. But now, is not the time to think that way. I know she will take this and find positivity somewhere and grow into an even more amazing human being. It’s OUR turn to give back and give her a little push over this obstacle she is facing.
Here in a few short days the family WAS going to embark on their family vacation, something that everyone was looking forward to before school began. That vacation is still up in the air as of right now. But hopefully things settle down quickly and they can still go through with it, the kids need something to lighten up their spirits from losing everything and it would be good for them to still be able to experience something “happy” and “normal”.
This fund is set up to help with extra expenses that have came up from this horrible situation. There is a long list of things that must be done right now that they had no extra funds for. This is a big beautiful family and they will cherish any help that they can get. Thank you.
