Maricela De La Cruz Román was a bright light in the lives of her family and friends. She was a caring woman filled with love who never met a person she didn't see the good in. She consistently prioritized her many loved ones her life above herself. As a single mother, Maricela devoted her life to her only son, Jason.

Tragically, Maricela unexpectedly passed away at the young age of 41 on Friday, February 10. This has left her 22 year old son having to navigate an unimaginable situation. Although Jason has the love & support of extended family and friends, we are asking for your support as well to help ease the burden on this young man as he grieves the loss of his mother.

In additon to covering the costs of Maricela's funeral, our hope is to lay her to rest back home in Morelos, Mexico.
