Well my journey begins! I have indeed been diagnosed with Lyme and several co infections. I have the opportunity to go to apothec wellness clinic in Edmonton. The Lord willing I will be going mid January for approximately 2 months. As I prepare physically for the trip itself I will need to build up my immune system. This includes cutting out all refined sugar and several inflammatory foods. Also going through some detox treatments plus adding to my menu of supplements. I was told I could expect to feel considerably worse during treatment so avoiding detox symptoms as much as possible is the goal.

This is totally out of my comfort zone to ask for money but without asking for help the medical tests I need won’t be possible.
I am a 38 year old mom to 4 of my own and 3 step kids. The last few months have been especially difficult due to extreme fatigue. Over the past 25 years I have had several episodes of being bedridden due to this fatigue. At one time diagnosed with chronic fatigue. Most days are a struggle to get up and going. I have been treated for many different symptoms thinking the root issue has been found. Debilitating anxiety and depression being the toughest and most prominent symptoms. But other issues have been thyroid issues, digestive issues due to leaky gut, hormonal challenges, neck/ jaw pain for years at a time. And a host of other symptoms that interfere with my daily life.
I have had months where I feel fantastic. I am able to work out or hold down a housecleaning business. But it never lasts.
So many opportunities with my family have been lost because I either can’t get out of bed or I’m so short of breath that even conversations are impossible.
I have worked with countless naturopaths, therapists, drs to get to the bottom of this. Anybody that knows me well knows that I have exhausted almost every avenue. Tried every diet. Done every test.
I have always been careful with my money because of how much I needed monthly for supplements, medication and testing. And any holistic appt or treatment adds up.
I do want to make clear however that as much as I would love to be symptom free and have all the energy in the world.. I have accepted that this is my cross to bear. If the Lord makes it possible for other tests to be done I will try. But my goal in life is to praise and glorify my creator regardless of my health. Which can be difficult understandably.
So the reason for this gofundme page is for a recommended test. That test being for Lyme disease. My drs agree this is the next necessary step. The most comprehensive and accurate test being from Germany. (No I don’t have to go there thankfully) but the test is costly and I’ve already racked up a lot of debt for the tests I’ve already done and for temporary relief for some symptoms.
Once the test has been completed for Lyme and many of its coinfections we will need to decide on a treatment plan regardless of whether I test positive or not. If positive the treatment centre will have something to work on. If Lyme is ruled out then other avenues will be pursued either with other testing or symptom control.
I ask that you please consider donating to my medical fund. If that isn’t possible at this time I understand. Please pray not only for myself but also for my family who really has been picking up the slack for a tired mom/wife.
