Update on Misty 9/26.

Misty has been officially diagnosed with CIDP. She has a very long road ahead of her to recovery. Today she was put on life support with a ventilator and feeding tube for the next few days for her body to get the rest and nutrients it very much needs to be stable before starting her next round of IVIG treatment. She is pushing hard with every ounce of fight she has. Misty is a loving mother of five and an amazing grandmother of four with a fifth on the way. She is a huge supporter of the community always giving back when and where she can. Misty is truly the definition of a great person all around. Please consider helping her and her family have a little peace of mind.

As some of you may know Misty has been a “ Medical Mystery” for a few months now. She has went from being a completely healthy, independent women to being in a wheel chair and only being able to walk a short distance with a walker. She has gone for many scans, tests and labs. As of September 14th she has received a diagnosis but is going for a second opinion.
