USA National Team in Dominican Republic
Donation protected
My name is Jayden Ayala.
For those who do not know me, I play for the club team 14uWarhawks, and my high school Varsity baseball team at Ridgevue High School. A couple weeks ago I went to a tryout for the USA National Team . I passed the first selection. Interviewed with the coach and was selected to join the team. This meant so much to me because I have always wanted to play for team USA. I am very excited to have this opportunity and God has truly blessed me. Team USA is a team of top athletes from around the nation.
The main reason that I am very excited to play for team USA is that I get to represent the USA in the Dominican Republic. I have always wanted to go to the Caribbean as my family roots are from Puerto Rico. I am proud to represent the country I love, playing the sport that means everything to me.
The reason I love this game so much is because I truly see myself playing college baseball and D1 baseball like my dad. My greatest dream is to play in the MLB like my paternal grandfather Daniel Ayala. He was a catcher for the San Francisco Giants. I look up to him. I know he is in heaven now and would love to see me follow in his footsteps. I strive to be a great baseball player like him and my dad.
Not a lot of people know this, I am a cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 3. I was cured of cancer at the age of 7. This month I am 6 years cancer free. Having cancer also made me question will cancer come back? It causes me to appreciate life. I never let it affect my performance or change the way I live, play baseball, or school work. I know God has my back always. I just stay on my grind and focus on baseball and school nothing else. I know I have potential, and what I am capable of. I want to do this for myself, my grandpa, and my family.
All contributions will be used to fund equipment, travel fare, and team fees. I am very thankful for everybody taking time out of your busy life to read this. Thanks to everyone that has stood by me and my family my whole life. Thank you for your prayers, and support in everything I do, God bless you.
Love,
