John Hoffman

John passed away on March 11, 2024. In life, he celebrated and loved his friends through both mundane and celebratory days. He supported and shared grief with his friends through sad and dark days. He went out of his way for others, even when he was personally battling his own demons. Driving 10 minutes or 200 miles, distance was never an obstacle. He showed up. He cared. He contributed in whatever way he could.

Now that he has left us, please consider helping him in return. He died without next of kin, so it’s up to us, dear friends, to make sure he is laid to rest with dignity and love. Please consider contributing towards the cremation and internment expenses. If there are funds in excess of expenses, they will be donated to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter in Chambersburg PA, where his mother had served on the board, and to honor his own love for animals.

A service date has not yet been scheduled due to the procedures required for an intestate person. The current expectation is that it will be held mid-May.
