This is by far the most humiliating thing I've had to do. I left the military 6 years ago due to an injury that I suffered while on active duty. I served my country proudly for 20 years and am severely disabled because of it. The nature of my injuries has made it impossible for me to gain employment and the mental trauma I suffered has made life difficult for me to say the least. I was put on disability but there was a time when the checks would fluctuate and I did not have enough to pay the utilities and my mortgage. Everything fell behind as my health deteriorated even more to include a minor heart attack brought on by the added stress.
Some of the injuries I've been dealing with:
I have lived in this house for 7 years and never thought I would end up in a situation where I could lose my home. Unfortunately I have now been served with foreclosure papers. I have tried every possible means to keep my house but nothing has worked. I do not want to tell my disabled wife and our little sugar baby that I have failed them as a husband and caretaker and that we will have our home and head to an uncertain future. I am desperate to keep my house. I have never done something like this but I have no other means to help my situation. Please consider donating to my GoFundMe. I know the situation sounds dire but your kindness and compassion are my only hope right now. If I lose my house I don't even know what I would do because I am constantly in and out of the hospital and my wife's disability severely affects her mobility. We also have a chihuahua named Faith who is our little girl and she suffers from Diabetes and Cushing's so we all need a stable environment to survive. I know the amount I am asking for is large but it will cover the delinquent payments, overdue charges, and legal fees. My ultimate goal is to stop the foreclosure and keep making my payments. I am not asking for large contributions, but every dollar helps me get closer to my goal. If you cannot contribute please share this with as many people as possible. Update:
It is with a very heavy heart that I must announce that my baby has passed due to complications from her fight with Cushings/Diabetes. We are completely devastated and just trying to take it one day at a time. We will always love our little sugar baby and we know she is in heaven with her brother and sister waiting for us at the rainbow bridge.
As we were grieving for out little baby we received the one thing that I have been terrified to receive, the final judgement on our property.
The total amount owed now is $12,073.09. My worst fear almost coming true. I am pleading with the community to please donate if possible or share with others who might be able to help. I thank everyone for their time and compassion.
