Help Fund Courtland’s Top Surgery

Hi, my name is Mike Hamilton. I am making this fundraiser to help fund a top surgery for one of the most important people in my life. His name is Courtland and he is a pre operation trans man and he’s a really great guy who’s been supportive of me and my disabilities. He has been there for me plenty of times in the past and he is a loyal guy who will do what he can to help you out.

Now, the way I was raised, when someone does you a kindness, you do something for them in return. I want him to be able to start his life and leave his baggage behind and begin anew. He is currently taking testosterone and has been for the past couple years.

He wears a chest binder frequently and hardly ever takes it off. It sometimes causes him pain, but for obvious reasons, he does not like taking it off until absolutely necessary. He is a minimum wage worker, but he was recently laid off by his previous employer and as a result, currently has no ability to raise money towards this, and it was already near impossible due to having to pay for necessities such as rent and food. I just want him to be able to live his life in the most painless way possible, so that’s why I’m creating this fundraiser.

When I visited him in Texas a couple months ago, I took notice of all of these issues plaguing his life, and I thought to myself that this wasn’t the way he should be living his life. He shouldn’t have to live in pain because of these issues. I spoke with him about how much it would cost, and he said around $10,000 (for the surgery and potentially having to travel to get the procedure done since he lives in Texas which is anti trans.)
