On August 19th, 2025 our hearts were shattered by the sudden loss of our beloved son, Brian T. Carey. His laughter, kindness, and vibrant spirit touched everyone who knew him. He is survived by his loving parents, Brian and Kathleen, and brothers Nicholas, Michael and Joseph and his wife Carrie. Brian loved all sports including soccer, baseball and rugby. We can remember the sweetness he had for his animals and his two beautiful nieces, Charlotte Ann and Emelia Grace. Brian was a bright light in our lives, and we want to honor his memory in the best way possible. After this tragic loss, Brian was able to live on and save multiple lives via organ donation. At this time, we have 8 confirmed organ recipients; 8 lives saved.

As we navigate this heartbreaking loss, we are seeking support to help with the unexpected costs that have arisen during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward his flight home and funeral. Your support will help us navigate this incredibly challenging time and keep his memory alive in a meaningful way.

We are grateful for everything our family has received in the past week. Phone calls, flowers, food, and support. There is not much we can say or do to express our deepest gratitudes.
