Medical Supplies and Travel Expenses

Hello, I'm Jerrica and for the past 6 months I've been traveling almost daily to the Houston or Galveston area for either testing or doctors appointments for my mom Donna. My mom is my rock. She's the first person I talk to every day. She was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma and on November 17th she finally had surgery. The surgery was almost 16 hours and they had to remove her entire tongue, a portion of her jaw, her tonsils, a portion of her hyoid bone and her lymph nodes. She also had reconstructive surgery to rebuild her tongue and jaw by taking bone and muscle from her back. She has a tracheotomy and a peg tube that require a tremendous amount of supplies that are very expensive. Now the first person I talk to every day has to learn to speak all over again. Her hospital stay has been extended because she had to go back into the OR. If you could donate anything to ease the burden of the supply purchases not covered by her limited insurance as well as travel expenses we would appreciate it.
