Help for Cass
Cassie was a hard worker for a state contractor working in the prison system. She lives in California with her husband and two fur babies. On a bright hot sunny day in California the temperature reached 115 degrees, and in her full uniform she ended up falling victim to heat stroke that has done significant damage to her autonomic nervous system. She has now been prescribed a continuous need to be on oxygen and is told that she needs a portable oxygen concentrator so she can stay mobile to benefit her health. However her insurance will not cover the device since they feel it is a "luxury item".
Cassie is one of the sweetest women I have had the pleasure of meeting and yet nobody is able to help (insurance wise). So if you can find a few dollars to toss towards helping her out so she can have a better quality of life, I know that she would be forever grateful.
Thank in advance for any assistance you have provided even if you're just spreading the link so others can aid.
