Hi, my name is MaryLou and I am reaching out to ask for your help & support for my husband Harry who is currently battling Colerectal cancer. Harry is a loving husband & father of two children, who has always been there for his family. We have been married 34 years. He is a very hard worker & dedicated employee and has been in the trucking industry for the past 26 years. He was born & raised in Northern BC.

Three days before his 65th birthday Harry was diagnosed with Colorectal cancer which has been devastating news for our family. This is the second time being diagnosed with cancer in the past 7 years. He had Prostate cancer, 33 Radiation treatments and then suffered a stroke 2 weeks after his last treatment. Three weeks after his stroke, we lost my Father & had to make the gruelling trip to Ontario to plan a Memorial. Harry came back strong as ever. He truly is a Warrior! This human has a kind & gentle nature and does not give up easily. He is strong physically & mentally who has a positive spirit and determination to fight this battle. Although Harry is not one to ask for help, we as a family must open ourselves up at a very vulnerable period in our lives to receive the love & support we need.

We are hoping to raise funds to cover medical expenses which includes travel.

As one can imagine this has been a very difficult time for our family, emotionally and financially.

Travelling for surgery to Vancouver will require two trips. The funds raised will be applied towards travel, accomodations & transportation costs. The every day expenses & monthly bills continue to arrive, however Harry will be off work for an undetermined amount of time as he undergoes chemo treatments as well as 2 surgeries.

Please help give him the fighting chance he deserves to win this battle. Not once but a second time.
