Help Steve Buy A New Vehicle & Tools

Ok, so we all know Steve is a great guy. He owns his own business and he has been hitting a few hard patches. With the economy slow to recover Steve has not been getting a lot of work. He owns a flooring company and is a one man show. He lays, sands, stains, polyurethanes and whatever else floor guys do... This winter he was effectively laid off because of the lack of construction that was happening. Now that the warmer weather has come around his business has started picking up a little.
However, Steve woke up Easter morning to the sounds of sirens on the street. When he looked outside he just stared in disbelief. They were coming to his house. Outside, his sole work vehicle was completely engulfed in flames. Inside this van was ALL of his tools needed for work. Being a one man show means that his only vehicle (Steve doesn't have a personal car) carried all of his work supplies from job to job.
Now I'm sure your thinking, "Insurance will cover it.." and this may be true, for the vehicle. They will not be covering the tools that were inside the vehicle. Just the vehicle. One this he IS sure of is that the insurnace company (as of this morning) won't be out until Monday or maybe Tuesday to even look at it. All the while Steve has no work vehicle, no tools, and no supplies to work this week. The lost wages will be staggering, and no amount of insurance is going to pay lost wages..
Even if insurance was going to cover EVERYTHING (which we all know they don't), Steve would need some extra cash for little things that insurance wont cover. Small tools, things that he still hasn't realized are in the van, etc..
Steve does so much for the Civil Air Patrol and is an active member. Most recently he was the Assistant Director for Cadet Programs for the entire state of Massachusetts. He oversaw more than 400 cadets (kids) and a large handful of seniors (adults). He lead the Massachusetts Wing Cadet Program to heights that haven't been seen in the last decade. Cadets love his "can-do" attitude and his devotion is clear and apparent. He dedicates countless weekends and evenings to the program and expects absolutely nothing in return.
I put this gofundme together not just to help Steve with whatever we are able to help him with, but to show Steve that we support him. He is a stand up man and I have been lucky to know him for the past 6 years. If you are able to contribute, it is greatly appreciated. Every bit counts! If you aren't able to give any money, that's okay too, as long as you spead the word about this!
