Hey guys. I am so embarrassed and ashamed that we are in this position. For the past 5 years, we have been on the struggle bus financially despite all of our best efforts. Tevin has been working 2 jobs this whole time, and my jobs and pay have been very inconsistent. I can't work normal jobs because we can't afford daycare, and I don't have anyone who could watch Annie consistently. 2 years ago, we had to file for bankruptcy, and we've been struggling to keep up with that monthly payment along with the rest of our bills. Our mortgage also went up $500 a month this past year because we weren't charged enough taxes last year. This, along with the rising costs of everything else, has caused us to get waaaaay behind in bills.

I've been trying to hide our financial issues from the kids, so I've been keeping up the utilities so they don't see our lights or water turn off, but now we've gotten ourselves into a giant mess and we're at risk of losing everything.

We are over 3 months behind on our mortgage, and $500 behind on our bankruptcy. Our mortgage company filed a motion to dismiss our bankruptcy so they can foreclose on our house. If this happens, we'll obviously lose our house, but both of our cars as well.

I know this ask is a lot considering the time of year, but if you can spare anything, it would be so appreciated. I really don't want to tell my kids we are about to be homeless right before Christmas. I know that sounds like a guilt trip, but it really is the reality of our situation.

I was able to find another job that will keep us financially afloat going forward, but we need help getting us caught up.
