As many of you know, my brother Bryan, whom I love, has faced more than his fair share of personal challenges during his college journey. Like myself, he is a first-generation college student, which is an obstacle in and of itself – the university system is difficult to navigate as an outsider, you don't have someone to guide you, and ultimately, you just don’t know a lot.

For more than a decade, he has also experienced a myriad of mental health struggles with insufficient or sub-par personal or medical support. There have been years lost to mis-prescribed medications, health crises, and an unfriendly, unwieldy, overly-expensive healthcare system.

The good news is that Bryan is doing really well right now. This semester he has been working and studying hard, getting good grades, and maintaining a job. He is tired but is nevertheless busting his butt.

He has two semesters left to go at Binghamton University and needs help with affording tuition and fees for Spring 2020. With your help, he will be able to graduate in December next year!

We are hoping to raise as much as we can by November 15th so we can know whether or not he will be able to stay at Bing in the spring.
