I hope this message finds you well. My name is Melissa DiPanni, and on February 8th, I received the life-altering news that I have been diagnosed with stage 2 Breast Cancer. In an instant, I felt my world come to a standstill, and for the first time, the thought of death loomed over me. At 38 years old, I never imagined I would be in this position, but here I am.

I’ve always envisioned myself getting married, raising children, and reaching the peak of my career, but life has taken a different turn. Although I’m not yet fully in the acceptance stage, I am a fighter at heart, and I am determined to beat this. I know the road ahead will be difficult, but I have the strength and resolve to push through.

Today, I am reaching out to my friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers for support, as I strive to continue living a fulfilling life.
