Sabrina, Ishbel and Thea are attempting the National Three Peaks Challenge in memory of Sabrina's wonderful mum, Miranda. We are raising money for The Motor Neurone Disease Association, a charity that focuses on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND across the UK.

Miranda was an immensely warm, kind and creative woman, who brought light into every room. She was an extremely skilled print maker, bookbinder and seamstress, and could always see the potential for a new project; her creative energy was boundless, and her unique patience and hard work meant she was constantly bringing these ideas to life. As a result, the family home was always filled with beautiful things, she is incredibly missed by all that knew her, but in particular her husband Gerry, and her threee children Ed, Maeve and Sabrina.

She handled every stage of her MND with incredible grace and exceptional strength of character, stoic in the face of the immeasurable difficulty she faced every day. It is this strength that we want to reflect, remember and honour in doing the Three Peaks Challenge.

The Challenge

We will be attempting to climb the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales - Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowden - in 24 hours.

Sabrina, Ishbel and Thea have been best friends for over 10 years, and have been unwavering pillars of support for Sabrina throughout this process. It feels only right to complete another challenge how we have approached all the others for the last decade - together.
