As-salāmu ‘alaykum dear brothers & sisters,
I pray you are all in the best of health and imān.
I am reaching out on behalf of my cousin’s daughter in Pakistan, who is now an orphan. A marriage proposal has come for her, alhamdulillāh, but the family is struggling financially. Her father passed away earlier this year, leaving behind her sick mother, who suffers from kidney and liver disease and is frequently in and out of the hospital and an older brother, who’s married with 3 very young children and are already burdened with rent and ongoing medical expenses.
I am humbly requesting your help, as a form of ṣadaqah jāriyah, to support her marriage so that she may begin this new chapter with dignity and without becoming vulnerable to hardship or mistreatment, as is sadly common in many poorer communities.
She is a gentle and beautiful soul, masha’Allah. During her father’s final months, she was the one who cared for him day and night, never leaving his side until his last moments. Supporting her now feels like a duty and an honour.
Our beloved Mother ‘Ā’ishah (ra) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever looks after these girls in any way and is good to them will have them as a veil from the Fire.”
If you are able to contribute in any amount, may Allah accept it from you as an ongoing charity and place barakah in your wealth and families.
May Allah reward you all for your generosity and compassion.
