Amelia's Medical Care
Donation protected
I am raising money for medical expenses for Amelia Birchfield and her family who are very dear to my heart. I work with Amelia's dad and know their need is very geniune. Amelia was injured in a brush fire Tuesday, October 13, 2015. She was airlifted to Vanderbilt Hospital and is in the burn unit with 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns. She will be in the burn unit for an indefinite time due the extensive nature of her burns and wound care can not be done at home. Her dad has been with her at the hospital for almost a week now and has been unable to work. He has no insurance.
There is no telling how much the hospital care will be but money is needed pretty quickly so the parents can be with this precious girl. I know this father and I know whatever monies he receives will be used soley for medical expenses, travel expenses, and whatever is needed to help Amelia.
Amelia is such a special little girl. She's the smile that lights up a room when she enters, she's the happiness left in your heart when she leaves. On the way to the hospital after the accident, even though she's light as a feather, she was worried that she was too heavy to be carried and someone would hurt their back. On the helicopter to Vanderbilt, she sang even though she had to be in excruiating pain. She's amazing ... and to see her hurting breaks my heart.
I would be so thankful if you, my friends, can help this sweet family and this precious girl. I don't know why things happen to beautiful little ones like this, but I know we can help to make things a little easier for her parents and therefore help her. Will you? Please and thank you so much.
