My mother is the most loving, caring person that I've ever known and this is why this is destroying me. She takes care of her parents who suffer from dementia and today, she came home to her mini poodle laying on the floor with her 2 back legs paralyzed. Ginger is a hilarious lapdog that has loved every single person that she's ever come in contact with.  I'm writing this in the emergency clinic, just minutes after my mom was turned down from a loan and we were handed an estimate of a little over $10,000. 

The specialist claims that Ginger (4 y/o) needs an MRI and surgery on either her disc or spine to fix this problem. This dog is one of the few bright spots in my mother's world. I don't ask for handouts but watching my mom cry and seeing this dog in pain has me devastated. Even if you're able to donate a dollar, it will mean the world to me and my mother.
