This page is decicated to Emmett Flynn Garriott and his parents.  Emmett has been diagnosed with rare genetic disorder called Severe Combined Immune Deficiency (SCIDs).  Emmett lacks the ability to make all the blood cells that fight infections.  Right now, any common virus, bacteria or fungus that our bodies could fight without blinking an eye, could be fatal to him.  The treatment is a bone marrow transplant.  If all goes well, this will give his body the ability to make the immune cells that he need to be healthy.
