Hi, I’m Vincent. I’m a 22-year-old living outside of Grand Rapids. I’m a full-time Door Dasher who was just recently in a car accident that the insurance is claiming to be a total loss. I’m here asking for help because I need a hand. I moved out of my parents' house in August of 2024 to be more independent, and that was problem number one. I had the money and the capacity to do that at the time until later in the year when my old car, a 2003 Stratus, died on me. So, I had to get a new car. I found a used 2013 Chevy Malibu that I fell in love with, but with the payment and insurance, it ended up being $600 a month. So, after my rent, my car, and my other bills, including my credit card, I was drowning in debt. I’ve been living paycheck to paycheck from either McDonald's or DoorDash since the end of 2024. Now that my Malibu has been totaled, I have no source of income, and I’m seeking any help to get back on my feet.
