Hi, my name is Donna Ross. I am raising money for my niece and her family. Cara, pictured above, is a spunky and adorable 3 year old. She was born with four congenital heart defects. In her own words, our little heart warrior said, " My heart was broken, but Jesus rescued me!"

Cara is the granddaughter of Joel & Karen Hopkins from Ashland, KY. She and her parents were privileged to come home for a visit this Christmas. Cara was so excited to visit "the America."

While visiting with family, Cara contracted HMPV (a virus similar to RSV). With her weakened heart, she was not able to fight the virus as most children would. She is currently being treated at the local children's hospital.

As you know, the cost of hospital bills are astronomical. Being from Northern Ireland, United Kingdom they have no medical coverage here in the States, which has caused them great concern over how much this will cost them once Cara is well and they are able to come home.
