My mom was diagnosed with Adenoid Systic Carcinoma last month.
It's a very rare cancer, and even more rare that it ended up on her vocal chords.

We met with a team of doctors this week who are going for at least 7 weeks of radiation daily and 7 weeks of chemotherapy weekly.

Because the radiation is daily, she will have to rent a room in the area of the cancer center, because it's a little over 4 hours away from home.

She will be out of work for around 5 months.

She already has Rheumatoid arthritis and still works full time as a nurse.

(She was actually asking the doctors if she could work while being treated.  They said no.)

She also helps take care of my 1 year old nephew.

More than likely she'll be getting a peg tube during treatment (feeding tube)

She'll need to pay for a hotel near the hospital for at least 7 weeks, as well as still be able to pay her bills at home.

She'll be going through radiation and chemotherapy mostly alone, and I want to make sure she's not worrying about bills while she's trying to get better, or worse, STOP treatment so she can go back to work to pay her bills.

PLEASE help me make sure my mom gets there treatment she needs.
