LOST EVERYTHING IN HOUSE FIRE

As many of you know, my parents and I survived a disaster 2 weeks ago today. I had just gotten home and realized the mobile home we use for storage was on fire. Mom and I had less than 5 minutes to try to grab cats and the dog and our meds and get ourselves out. Mom has a 2nd/3rd degree burn on her arm that she's having to go to a burn clinic to have treated. We lost everything. The storage mobile home and our main home burned to the ground. Only the frame and a few other things made of thick metal or steel survived.

We are temporarily staying with a family friend but will have to try and rent a place soon. We have nothing but what we were wearing and a few small items we had in my moms purse and my bag and my dads backpack. I lost my entire ebay business which was my only income. All of our inside cats are still missing. We keep going back and setting traps and have been hiking all over neighboring properties in search of them.

It has been a neverending nightmare. Mom and I both have PTSD. We will need to see a therapist. The worst of it is missing our cats and losing sentimental items that no sum of money can replace. But we also have to rebuild our entire lives. My parents have been together 35 years and lost everything they created together.

Needless to say, we need help.

I know money is tight for everyone so I understand if this doesn't really go anywhere. A couple of people already sent money in the day or two right after it happened. But any other help would be so endlessly appreciated.

More than anything, we are thankful to be alive and still have each other. But this is going to be a long, difficult road. Please at least keep us in your prayers. Pray for our cats that are missing. Thank you!
