HELP BUILD MASJID FUNERAL FACILITY!

Peace be upon you all,

Darul-Hijra Islamic Centre is a mosque operated by the Canadian Muslim Heritage Association, a non-profit charitable organization. Since its inception in 2007, Darul-Hijra has taken great care of serving the Muslim community in Toronto. 

The mosque is now in the process of building a Janazah (funeral) facility just in time for Ramadan In shaa Allah. This facility will allow for the washing rituals for deceased Muslims and to help arrange their funeral rites and  services.

Narrated Abu Umaamah رضي الله عنه that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

“Whoever washes the dead and (upon finding any defects) hides it, Allah will conceal his sins (on the Day of Judgment); and whoever provides a shroud for the Muslim, Allaah will drape him with Sundus (silk brocade) (on the Day of Judgement).”  [Shaykh al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami 6403]

Your donations will provide ability for Muslims to be able to bury the deceased with dignity and upon the Sunnah of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم . Don't miss out on these good deeds!

We have already started with the construction but we need your help to finish this project!

We are raising funds for:

- Plumbing costs
- Tiling costs
- Purchase of PPE equipment
- Purchase of other essential items (stainless steel tables, etc)
- Any other funeral related equipment 

Additional funds raised will go towards other mosque projects.

Allah, the Most High, said

“Who is he that will lend to Allah a goodly loan so that He may multiply it to him many times? And it is Allah that decreases or increases (your provisions), and unto Him you shall return.” [Surah al-Baqarah:245]
