Julie and Malcolm McDonald

Julie and Malcolm McDonald found out in March that they were pregnant with their second child! In early July, they were thrilled to learn that it was a baby boy! Sweet little Mac McDonald was to be born in late December. Shortly after the gender was released, Julie began to have some complications and eventually her water broke in early July. She was only about 16 weeks along at this point. The doctor gave the baby about a 2% chance to survive the duration of the pregnancy. After a few weeks of bed rest and following strict orders from the doctors, baby Mac was not able to hold on any longer. They rushed to the hospital on July 24th only to find out Mac was lifeless. Julie then had to deliver the baby on July 25th. Sweet Mac was already loved by so many and the news was and still is absolutely devastating. Despite this heart wrenching experience, Malcolm and Julie are trusting that our God is sovereign and are allowing his perfect peace to intervene when they feel hopeless. Malcolm and Julie are loved by so many and are two of the most selfless people I know. They also have a PRECIOUS little girl, Emma Grace. EG is so filled with joy and is a blessing to everyone she meets, especially her parents. I have created this fund for Malcolm and Julie. They are my DEAREST friends and during this heart break, no one should also be feeling a financial burden. Having to take time off work and now making funeral arrangements is just a few of the real life issues they are currently having that this money will help them with! I would love to see the community come together and raise small amount of money to bless this incredible family with. Nothing we do can take away the heart ache but we can attempt to lighten the load.
