This year has been quite the year! We started the year with myself getting a saddle blood clot in my lung…

In early October, I had a routine MRI of my back to update my pain care doctor who treats my spinal stenosis…it showed not only severe stenosis but a 4.6cm mass on my right kidney. Follow up test show it is Renal Cell Carcinoma…cancer.

Around this same time my wife developed a gynecological issue that requires a surgical procedure.

So you get the full picture, my wife works two jobs. A full time and a part time. I am self employed as I am somewhat disabled with chronic illnesses (had Lyme, now have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, spinal stenosis and arthritis in my back and pelvis and a disabled veteran) so I try to make money buy it isn’t consistent. Our 25 year old daughter who lives at home also chips in. We have a pretty good health insurance but it has a high per person deductible.

We basically live paycheck to paycheck…like most Americans.

My cancer surgery will leave me unable to work for a few weeks. My wife’s surgery will make her unable to work for at least a week. She has sick time from her full time job but not her part time, so we will be short about $300 per week until she can return to work.

The shortfall, plus medical bills and now it is looking like my car will need repair (looking like the throttle body will need to be replaced). So sadly we need some help!

I really didn’t want to ask for help! I’d rather provide a service or a product to raise the extra money!!

I teach martial arts through seminars, guest teaching and my online learning site and I run a graphic design and illustration freelance business…I’d rather do a custom art commission, logo design, graphic or illustration to raise the money. Or maybe even get more sales on my website.

But here we are…
