Nash Tabor - Spinal Cord Injury (Grade A)
Donation protected
As Nash faces the fight of his life, he has made it very clear to many of us that all he needs is his God. God IS and will ALWAYS be enough but his loving family, his resolute church family, his loyal Newcastle buddies, his unwavering scouting family, and his courageous community round out an army of God that stepped into the ring with him on Tuesday, March 26, 2019.
HE WILL achieve his goals – HE WILL live out his dreams – HE WILL go on the Grand Teton trip – HE WILL be a Broncho – HE WILL go on missions – HE WILL love – HE WILL be loved – HE WILL witness – HE WILL continue to lead – HE WILL be a husband – HE WILL be a father – HE WILL!
On the afternoon of March 26th, 2019, Nash was in a dirt bike accident in his hometown of Tuttle, Oklahoma. He was care-flighted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He suffered extensive nerve damage in thoracic vertebrae that traumatized his spinal cord and broke his sternum. It has been classified as the most severe grade of spinal cord injuries; ASIA Grade A "Complete lack of motor and sensory function below the level of injury".
Immediate Future Needs:
1) Hospital transport
2) Cost of travel, room and board, meals for family
3) Lost income
4) Wheelchair and wheelchair lift for family van
5) Retrofit the family home with ADA bathroom, ramps, etc...
Any help you are able to give is more than appreciated. We want Nash to know that it is all being taken care of so he can focus on healing and recovery. He is a selfless young man who always puts others first so he will fight us on getting him the best treatment out there if he thinks it will be a financial burden.
The fire God lit inside of Nash years ago immediately brought a light to the halls of the ICU that we walk countless times each day. That light slowly washes away our fear of the unknown. God’s presence is unmistakable.
Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
- Kyle and Kayleigh
Nash has no feeling from his chest down and is being told he will never walk again. We’ll see about that. #butGod #Godsgotthis
