Matthew D Eisel Memorial
Donation protected
Dear Class of 2008 and friends of Matthew Eisel:
I am deeply saddened by the death of my beloved nephew, Matthew Eisel on February 1st at the age of 26.
Matt attended Florinada Elementary School, Rickards Middle School and graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School in 2008 before heading off on a full scholarship to the University of Florida. He was a National Merit Commended Student, Honor Roll 9, 10, 11, 12, Mu Alpha Theta, SAC, Science Club and on the JV Football team.
Matt is survived by his mother, Yvonne Moni; his brother, Thomas Eisel; his father Mark Eisel and his grandmother, Celeste Moni.
We ask that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to help offset some of the funeral expenses. Matt’s father is in hospice care and is unable to assist in the funeral arrangements. After being evicted, Matt's mother and brother also require assistance in resettling.
Memorial service will be held at St. John the Baptist Church, 4595 Bayview Drive in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, February 20 at 10:30 am.
Following the service will be the scattering of his ashes in the ocean at Lauderdale-by-the-Sea pier.
