Cody Deveau needs your help

Hi my name is Leeza Dougherty, and I am fundraising for Cody Deveau. I am Cody's sister-in-law.

Cody was involved in a very serious accident in Florida March 4, 2023. He was riding his late father's motorcycle and was the victim of a hit-and-run. The other driver fled the scene and Cody was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. He had his friends Shane and Jeff by his side.

Cody currently is at a Florida hospital in the ICU. Cassie and Jazmine flew to Florida on March 5th to be by his side. The nurses say that he is making great progress. He was taken off the ventilator this morning and is able to talk and follow commands.

Cassie requests that she, Cody and Jazmine are not contacted by anyone. I know your first instinct is to text/call them and ask if they are okay. Please wait. They are dealing with a lot right now. It's too overwhelming. Just know that they are all together, and after some time has passed and things have settled in, you can reach out.

We are not sure what path lies ahead for Cody but we know it's going to be a long road. Please consider donating to help Cody, Cassie and Jazmine. As many of you know Cody is self-employed and is the primary worker for his company. He will be without income for a long time and will need to cover rent/overhead, etc. We also don't know what hospital costs from the USA will be, how long his stay is, and if he will require surgery there. It would be great to help out Jazmine and Cassie with some travel costs as well.

I will continue to post updates on his progress on this site directly as I know it.
