Hello, my name is Montel Dangerfield, and I’m a 19-year-old student at the University of North Texas, majoring in Business Economics. I recently completed my first year of college, and I’m incredibly proud of that achievement. By the grace of God, I was able to pay for my first semester of housing, which cost $5,000. It took everything I had, but I made it happen through faith, focus, and hard work. Being on campus gave me the full college experience and allowed me to grow both academically and personally.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to pay for my second semester of housing, which is also $5,000. Even though I successfully completed my freshman year, I can’t return for the next year unless I pay off this balance. That’s why I’ve created this GoFundMe—because I truly need help. I’ve applied for scholarships, looked for additional financial aid, and tried to find work opportunities, but the remaining cost is still too much for me to cover on my own.

I’m asking for support to raise $5,000 so I can pay off my past-due housing and continue my education. Every dollar donated will go directly toward settling my student account so I can register for classes and return to school this fall. Without these funds, I risk losing the progress I’ve made and missing out on the education I’ve worked so hard for.

This moment is difficult, but I haven’t lost hope. I believe that with God, faith, and the kindness of others, I can overcome this obstacle.
