Hi, my name is Deborah Stengel My kind American friend, Kelly Brant, is the founder and director of a shelter in Chisinau, Moldova called "Fields of Joy". This is a Christian Ministry that frees young womaen from the horrible abuse and unlawful practice of human traffficking. She currently provides a safe house, needed healthcare, and education opportunities for 8 women and 12 children who have been exploited in Moldova. In her 12 years of service to this shelter she has rescued 57 girls and children.

Today, Russian forces sit at the Moldova border to Ukraine. This small unprotected country leaves Kelly and her shelter also unprotected. She has had difficulty getting all the necessary things to help them flee to Romania. This week, she believes she will have all the border crossing paperwork and arranged for transportation volunteers. When I asked how I could help, she asked for fundraising.
