Duke is my beloved 3-year-old puppy.
Duke is the happiest dog anyone has ever met. If you know Duke, he always lights up every room he struts into. Through his time with the shelter, Duke has always been very bubbly, and insanely friendly. Duke and I live a very active lifestyle. Some of our favorite activities include bike rides, exploring trails, and playing at dog parks. Unfortunately, this could all come to an end because Duke needs emergency surgery for his leg.
Due to COVID-19, I was unfortunately laid off and we are in dire need of financial assistance. In the interim, he has been prescribed anti-inflammatory and pain medications but this only goes so far. The surgery has a very high chance of success, and because he is so young, it will lead to a higher quality of life.
Duke and I are left to our last resort. I am trying to scramble and sell/pawn anything valuable that I can at this moment.
This is extremely time-sensitive, and the surgery has to take place as soon as possible. The longer he walks on his leg, the more injury this could cause. Anything that you can donate during this tumultuous time would be incredibly helpful.
