Help a Disabled Woman and Her Cats Find a Home

Donation protected
I am a 32-year-old disabled female with three emotional support cats who is on the verge of becoming homeless. I suffer greatly from two forms of scoliosis (since birth), which makes it impossible for me to work for hours on end without my back being in a tremendous amount of pain. I also suffer from anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I just witnessed the death of my mother on August 5th, 2025 (exactly two months before my 32nd birthday). I have also witnessed the death of my brother on January 15th, 2022. I also lost my sister on October 26th, 2005, who suffered from five massive heart attacks. I have no immediate family left and am living with some dear friends.

I have no source of income at all outside of me receiving food stamps. I have already applied for disability at the beginning of September 2025 and have an upcoming appointment to also apply for survivor benefits since I have had scoliosis all of my life. But because of how long it takes to get approved here in Illinois, I am more or less screwed financially. I need a place to go to for myself and my three children - yes, my three children being my cats - as well as the ashes of my mother, brother, and sister. I could use this money to perhaps buy an RV or else find a relatively cheap place to move into if things do not start looking up within the next month (30 days). I am genuinely scared for my life.

And, on top of that, the dear friends that I am currently living with are also struggling financially and are in the process of trying to come up with a Plan B of their own. I just need something, ANYTHING, that would help me get on my own two feet until I get approved for disability. Because, as of right now, my extended family all have their own families to deal with along with their fare share of health problems to deal with in a daily basis.
