Several weeks ago our dear friends Scott and Marie Johnson faces the unimaginable. Scott was diagnosed with a Cavernoma in his brain that had caused a blockage and a fluid buildup called Hydrocephalis. This is a serious and potentially fatal diagnosis. Scott had suddenly lost several functions and needed to be intubated. He was stabilized at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital and then flown to Loma Linda Hospital. Surgery to place a shunt in his brain was performed to relieve the fluid that was building up until surgeons and his family could come up with a game plan regarding the Cavernoma. A plan was put in place to do surgery and remove the Cavernoma. Scott went through a 15 hour brain surgery on Feb 6th 2019 and the doctors were able to remove it successfully, however Scott has not regained consciousness since. The future is unknown at this point but we all continue to pray for healing and for Scott to wake up and return to his family. With Scott being out of work and Marie at his bedside we are asking for help for his precious family. The medical bills are adding up daily and they have a mortgage and car payments to make. This family has served this community faithfully for years. Marie is a Nurse at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital and her and her family regularly volunteer. They are the type of people that when someone is in need they show up first and leave last. They are the most giving, loving, And faithful people we know and now they need our help. Please consider helping this family out by donating to help with mounting expenses.
