Hello, My Name is Majed Alaqqad l’m 28 years old and my wife is Lena 24 years old .

I work as an accountant in a communications office, and his wife Lena is a lawyer. She worked in a law firm. She began to realize her dreams and work in the field of law. She pleads in courts and wins many cases. I was very proud of her, but in an instant, I lost my office and my job, and I also lost her office and her dream, which she did not achieve.

Before October 7, that is, before the war on Gaza, we had a beautiful, simple and cozy house that we were planning to expand and restore with new furniture and decor, but this plan was not even completed, because of the Israeli occupation that destroyed, bombed and robbed our house!!

Now !now! Our house has become a tent that does not protect us from winter cold or summer heat! Nylon and wood tent? Do we deserve this?

It's a tent that can't accommodate 4 people! Where it's tight! But I and about 10 people live there

This is not fair and this is not life. We are tired

We endured 7 months of war, oppression, injustice and loss!

But we can't afford it anymore

Before our exodus from Khan Yunis, we witnessed death with our own eyes due to the numerous attacks around us. We had to leave our house for fear of death. I went to my wife's family, and the occupation also forced us to evacuate and we were displaced for the third time to the city of Rafah. During this period, we received news about the death of many of our relatives, including my brother, aunt and cousin's children.

I am now displaced in Rafah, near the sea, far from my home. I am separated from my family and I live with 10 people in a so-called nylon room that can barely accommodate each of us.

The donated funds will be used to secure my evacuation from Gaza, preserve my life and the life of my family, and help rebuild my life, home and livelihood once the war is over.

Travel costs from Gaza to Egypt :

- Crossing Egyptian borders: you have to pay (5,000-8,000$) for every Adult in the family and 2,500$ each for children

So, (2×8000$) =16,000$ , Considering current evacuation fees and coordination expenses at the Egyptian border

- Passport fees: 800$ totally (100$/person for 8 family members)

- GoFundMe Fee: 2,000$ (Approximately 2.9%+0.30$ for each donation, covering the platform’s fee).

- And some extra living costs for couple of months (Including apartment rent, clothes , food , etc) : 10,000$.

The total is approximately : 20,000$(I plan on sending the funds through The Bank of Palestine to be available to withdraw or through a Western Union transfer)

After 7 months of destruction and horror, we only have this solution that will get us out of this crisis by raising funds for me and my family to escape from this damn terrible war, but since we are still in the process of thinking about our evacuation, and I can't describe to you the pain that comes with... This is a heavy decision.

The funds will be used to cover border crossing fees, transportation and other basic expenses associated with ensuring their safety during this difficult time

My family consists of mom Sozan Abd Alaqqad 50 years old, dad Ziad Mahmoud Alaqqad 62 years old , two brothers Abd Ziad Alaqqad 22 years old, and my young children Lulu 6 and Ali 4 and my wife .

Honestly, we do not ask for help in this way, but the silent world forced us to do so in order to keep our souls alive, asking good people to help save our oppressed souls.
