Hello. My name is Nikkesha Mead. I am raising funds for my sister/friend Nyoka, who is a Mother, sister and great friend to many. Nyoka is a healthcare worker and has served the community for many years while currently working on her masters degree. Her passion

is helping people, whether it’s with healthcare or personal needs. She is always the first to give and the last to ask for anything. Nyoka has endured many obstacles in this life, however she still pushes herself to over come all. From a suffering from a saddle pulmonary embolus to being a 18 yr cancer survivor. On September 14, 2023, while at work, Nyoka started experiencing stroke like symptoms and unfortunately was Medevac to a higher level of care.

While doing a series of test Nyoka was diagnosed with blood clot in her right leg, vision loss in her right eye as well as a tumor in the posterior lobe of the brain. She is scheduled to undergo surgery for the removal of the Brain Tumor. This extremely critical surgery may cause her to have an extended hospital stay in the ICU or acute care facility and cause her to be out of work. On behalf of myself and the family, we are humbly coming to you with a heavy heart as we ask you to please help us meet our goal to aid in Nyoka in relieving any burdens off her while she recieves all the proper care she will need at this time.
