Rich Machen was many things to different people; A great friend, a caring boss, a loving husband to Katie, and a devoted father to 5-month-old Lucas. Sadly, he lost his life in a car accident on January 6th, 2016. He was only 29.
At his death, Rich did not have life insurance through an unforunate series of events regarding switching jobs in the same company.
