In Loving Memory of Alfonso Gonzalez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved grandfather, Alfonso Gonzalez, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Alfonso passed away suddenly from a heart attack, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and a legacy of faith, strength, and unwavering love.

Alfonso was born and raised in Colombia, where he lived most of his life. He was a true man of God — when he prayed, you could feel it in your chest. His words were filled with power and purpose, and his faith guided our family through every storm. No matter what life threw at him, he faced it with bravery and grace, always finding a way to rise above.

In his later years, Alfonso came to the United States to be closer to his only family. His wish was to be laid to rest in Colombia, but unfortunately, the cost of repatriation was beyond what we could manage. We made the difficult decision to bury him here, close to the family who was by his side until the end.

He leaves behind his soulmate, Cecilia, his loving wife of many years — but we take comfort in knowing they’ll be reunited in heaven one day.

This loss was sudden and unexpected, and the cost of funeral services is overwhelming. We are asking for help during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help us give Alfonso the farewell he deserves.
