hi- ive always had sinus issues, but its gotten to the point now where its almost impossible to breathe thru my nose. also, just like dewey cox, ive gone smell-blind. not the end of the world, but if youve ever been on a tour bus with me or stayed at my house, my snoring is somewhat legendary. also not the end of the world, but it seems like its been contributing to some sleep apnea over the last year or so, and that could be the end of at least my world. i wake up panicked and gasping for air sometimes, i almost always have a headache in the morning and im just not getting real rest when i sleep which leaves me pretty exhausted during the day. the snore tracking app i recently put on my phone often categorizes my snoring as "epic"...
step one in tackling all this is a surgery to remove a polyp almost completely blocking my left nostril, correcting a deviated septum and removing some excess sinus tissue. im self-employed and the only insurance i can afford ($7500 deductible) makes this surgery cost $7000, which i cant afford. so, in the spirit of many other americans with medical problems, im reaching out to my friends to help. if each of my facebook friends donated $4, id be all the way there! lol
im absolutely terrified of even the thought of surgery, but id also like to live a bit longer. if youve got a few extra bucks and would like to help your friendly neighborhood aaron breathe (and smell stuff), id be very grateful.
thank you,
aaron mlasko
