Jenny & Alan Kuykendall lost their home Saturday, Sept. 12 in Anderson Springs from the Valley Fire. They both escaped with the clothes on their backs. They did manage to save their three horses and 4 dogs, but were forced to leave behind a cat, chickens, as well as two lofts of homing pigeons. Jenny is 17 years old and recently graduated from Middletown High School in May. She is also the 2015 Middletown Days Queen.
She is in her first year of Yuba College, and even lost all of her textbooks in the fire. Her and her dad can use anything you could think of, from animal feed, to towels and dishes.
