In Memory of Mike

Our good friend and coworker Mike O'Neil passed away suddenly and unexpectedly the night of April 24th. He carried new friends wherever he went and left an impression of a man full of life, and with few regrets. Mike was making a new life for himself here in West Virginia and preparing to close on property where he could focus on his passions, not least of all growing mushrooms and providing for himself through what the hills and hollows could yield.
His family and closest friends now face the prospect of a world without him and the financial burden that comes with his untimely death. We can't fix the first but we hope to help with Mike's final financial burdens and funeral costs. The average end of life costs range around $20,000 dollars in 2021 and this GoFundMe account will go directly to his parents to help ease this process to some degree.
