I, Rudy Martinez, am one of two brothers, of Pete Martinez. Sadly, Pete passed away on Thursday, December 23rd 2021, after a week and a half courageous battle in the ICU with his loving children by his side. It is with a heavy heart that I come to each of you to ask on behalf of Pete, to help even in the slightest, with his funeral expenses. Every cent is tremendously appreciated during this difficult time. Although Pete would never claim it, most of his life, Pete did what I call "God's work." All of his adult life, he would take in those less fortunate and make his home, their home. Until they were able to get on their own two feet. He opened his doors to those, who didn't even have a door to open. Though, I would always say he opened his heart, he always played his actions down, as if it were no big deal. He didn't know any strangers. So I most humbly come to you and ask, please open your doors and hearts for him as I know in my heart, Pete would be way too proud to ask anything for himself. Pete’s children, Melissa, Ashley and Nathaniel, as well as Randy and I are extremely grateful for your generosity. May God bless all of you for the outpouring prayers, love and support you have shown to the family.
